One of my major hobbies is called "Airsoft". Like Paintball, those who participate in Airsoft (or "Airsofters") shoot non-lethal projectiles at each other. However in Airsoft these projectiles are plastic BBs as opposed to Paintballs. Airsoft is also much more of a Military Simulation type activity than Paintball, owing to the realism of Airsoft guns (they very closely resemble real rifles) and the tactics empoloyed while playing Airsoft are similar to, and borrow heavily from, actual Military tactics.
So that's a bit of a run down of the sport. I started a team in my local area called Ghost TAC, which has risen into quite a prominent position in the Western Washington Airsoft scene over the past several years. We go to large events perhaps 3-4 times a year (usually based down south of Seattle) and play locally pretty much every sunday afternoon.
